Cara mengatasi kelas ramai

Assalamu’alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh, menjadi pendidik tentunya menginginkan suasana pembelajaran kondusif, terkendali, menyenangkan, akan tetapi tidaklah mudah mewujudkan hal itu, ya mungkin karena banyak faktor, misalnya kondisi kelas yang gemuk di dukung ukuran ruang kelas tidak standar, jenjang pendidikan, lingkungan sekolah, karakter siswa dan masih banyak lagi.

Langsung saja saya akan berbagi bagaimana cara mengatasi suasana kelas yang “super aktif” lebih tepatnya ramai-ramai rasanya, he he kaya permen, tentunya menurut pengalaman saya pribadi.

1. kontrak Belajar

Diawal pembelajaran kita harus membuat kontrak belajar yang berisi kesepakatan-kesepakatan bersama, dilaksanakan bersama, dan di taati bersama. Kontrak belajar bisa berisi tentang reward (penghargaan / hadiah ) maupun punishment ( hukuman bagi pelanggar). Jika perlu kontrak belajar itu dibuat hard copy yang ditandatangani oleh perwakilan masing-masing, dan bisa dipasang di dinding ruang pembelajaran.

2. Membangun prinsip

Apa yang dimaksud membangun prinsip disini?, yaitu jangan memulai pembelajaran sebelum semua tenang, diam, dan kondusif. Tunggulah suasana kondusif kemudian kita baru memulai membuka salam. Lakukanlah kegiatan tersebut setiap kita masuk kelas, insya Allah pertemuan berikutnya peserta didik akan terbiasa dan akan memahami prinsip anda.

3. Mengatur tempat duduk

Seperti layaknya pelatih sepak bola, kita manager yang bebas memasang para pemain bola. Pepatah mengatakan  posisi menentukan prestasi. Jika kita sudah hafal dengan karakter peserta didik kita, mana yang suka membuat gaduh, mana yang rajin itu akan memudahkan kita untuk mengatur tempat duduk, akan tetapi bagaimana kalau kita belum memahami karakter kelas? Ya yang kita atur tempat duduknya di luruskan, di rapikan, jaraknya di atur sedemikian rupa agar tercipta suasana kondusif.

4 . Around the classroom ( berkeliling ruang kelas )

Anda tipe yang mana jika mengajar? Apakah suka duduk, berdiri, atau meninggalkan ruangan dengan tugas di kelas he he....untuk mengontrol kelas sebetulnya bisa dengan duduk saja, tapi jika itu tidak memungkinkan cobalah dengan berdiri di depan tengah, jika itu belum cukup mampu untuk mengendalikan peserta didik yang gaduh cobalah untuk anda memberi isyarat kepada yang membuat gaduh dengan tatap mata, jika itu juga belum mampu terkendali cobalah anda mencoba untuk mendekati, tentunya pendekatan ini sudah dapat untuk mengendalikan peserta didik tersebut.

5. Metode yang tepat

Metode yang tepat akan sangat membantu kita dalam mengendalikan kelas, contoh metode yang saya sarankan adalah model dekte yaitu model konvensional peserta didik menulis apa yang diucapkan guru ( ini berlaku untuk jenjang pendidikan tertentu ). Metode yang kedua saya menyarankan dengan bebasis IT seperti memakai LCD proyektor tentunya dengan menampilkan media pembelajaran yang menarik peserta didik. Saran ketiga bisa kita pakai game hallo hai yaitu untuk merebut  kembali konsentrasi siswa.

6. Ektra time ( tambahan waktu )

Berikanlah tambahan waktu untuk memberikan efek jera kepada kelas yang ramai, cara ini hanya berlaku untuk jam-jam tertentu seperti kita mengajar berakhir waktu istirahat atau kita mengajar di jam terakhir sebelum pulang. Cara mempraktekan punishment ini adalah jika kelas ramai selama lima menit maka nanti ketika sudah bel istirahat atau pulang tambahlah lima menit. Contohnya jika pembelajaran berakhir pukul 13.55 WIB karena kelas tadi ramai selama lima menit maka jam pulang di tambah lima menit menjadi 14.00 WIB he he tentunya cara ini sangat ampuh dan tetap mendidik.

7. Reward and punishment ( penghargaan dan hukuman )

Sebelum kita clossing pembelajaran berilah penghargaan kepada semua peserta didik, contoh dengan mengucapkan “ terima kasih telah mengikuti pembelajaran ini dengan baik “ terus apresiasi hal tersebut dengan tepuk tangan atau apalah yang kira-kira gratis saja tetapi dapat membuat hati peserta didik bangga.
